Speedy deletion nomination of Robert Niter
[edit]Hello Rniterjr,
I wanted to let you know that I just tagged Robert Niter for deletion, because the article doesn't clearly say why the subject is important enough to be included in an encyclopedia.
If you feel that the article shouldn't be deleted and want more time to work on it, you can contest this deletion, but please don't remove the speedy deletion tag from the top.
You can leave a note on my talk page if you have questions. Kavdiamanju (talk) 02:48, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
Hello Kavdiamanju,
Thanks for the notice. I am currently in editing phase and published to quickly. Thank you!

[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia. It might not have been your intention, but you removed a speedy deletion tag from a page you have created yourself. If you believe the page should not be deleted, you may contest the deletion by clicking on the button that says: Contest this speedy deletion which appears inside the speedy deletion notice. This will allow you to make your case on the page's talk page. Administrators will consider your reasoning before deciding what to do with the page. Thank you. Cahk (talk) 09:37, 19 August 2016 (UTC)
Please do not write or add to an article about yourself. Creating an autobiography is strongly discouraged – see our guideline on writing autobiographies. If you create such an article, it may be deleted. If what you have done in life is genuinely notable and can be verified according to our policy for articles about living people, someone else will probably create an article about you sooner or later (see Wikipedians with articles). If you wish to add to an existing article about yourself, please propose the changes on its talk page. Please understand that this is an encyclopedia and not a personal web space or social networking site. If your article has already been deleted, please see: Why was my page deleted?, and if you feel the deletion was an error, please discuss it with the deleting administrator. Thank you. Thanks for the update. I am writing the article on behalf of Robert Niter as I have access to most of his accounts. Although certain aspects may present the appearance of such, the article has not been written by this public figure. We will continue to work with the admin team and follow Wikipedia's guideline. We appreciate the reinforcement of standards. Thank you.

[edit]Hello! Thank you for your recent contributions to Robert Niter. I did have one note for you. I am working on a maintenance project to clean up Category:Pages using infoboxes with thumbnail images. In the future, please do not use thumbnails when adding images to an infobox (see WP:INFOBOXIMAGE). What does this mean? Well in the infobox, when you specify the image you wish to use, instead of doing it like this:
|image=[[File:SomeImage.jpg|thumb|Some image caption]]
Instead just supply the name of the image. So in this case you can simply do:
|image=SomeImage.jpg
.
There will then be a separate parameter for the image caption such as |caption=Some image caption
. Please note that this is a generic form message I am leaving on your page because you recently added a thumbnail to an infobox. The specific parameters for the image and caption may be different for the infobox you are using! Please consult the Template page for the infobox being used to see better documentation. Thanks!! Hi User:Zackmann08 Thank you for the update. I will make the necessary adjustments to the infobox as requested. Thanks again! Rniterjr (talk) 02:58, 25 August 2016 (UTC)
Hi User:Zackmann08 Thanks for making the update. In the future, I will not use thumbnails in the infobox. I have referenced the template page in addition. Thanks!Rniterjr (talk) 03:12, 25 August 2016 (UTC)

Speedy deletion nomination of File:Professional Bodybuilder, Robert Niter.jpg
[edit]A tag has been placed on File:Professional Bodybuilder, Robert Niter.jpg requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done under section F9 of the criteria for speedy deletion, because the file appears to be a blatant copyright infringement. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted content borrowed from other web sites or printed material, and as a consequence, your addition will most likely be deleted. Wikipedia takes copyright violations very seriously and persistent violators will be blocked from editing.
If you think this page should not be deleted for this reason, you may contest the nomination by visiting the page and clicking the button labelled "Contest this speedy deletion". This will give you the opportunity to explain why you believe the page should not be deleted. However, be aware that once a page is tagged for speedy deletion, it may be removed without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag from the page yourself, but do not hesitate to add information in line with Wikipedia's policies and guidelines. There is currently a discussion at Wikipedia:Administrators' noticeboard/Incidents regarding an issue with which you may have been involved. Thank you. Black Kite (talk) 09:56, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
- Hi Black Kite (talk) Thank you for the notification. The article for Robert Niter has been deleted. Could you please explain the reason behind deleting the article? Thank you.Rniterjr (talk) 17:45, 17 October 2016 (UTC)
- Very simply because the rationales of the "Delete" votes were more convincing than the "Keep" ones, and the more pressing issue that most of the "Keep" votes (including your two votes) appeared to come from the same or a linked source and were thus discounted.
